Today is the 43rd Anniversary of Star Wars. The original. Before it was remastered and called a New Hope, Star Wars blew my grade school mind. There has been nothing like it before or since. And this excerpt from John Williams score is one of my favorite musical moments. Just listen and if you are a true Star Wars fan, you will see the scene from the movie play out in your head.

Dude, it was 43 years ago… It was classical heaven. New Hope and Empire Strikes Back are the best of the whole series….
