Song a Day 2020 
Wow! I’ve been listening to this song for about two months now. Perfect timing! John plays his Strat with classic Strat sounds through a classic amp. He started off wanting to be the best guitar player using Stevie Ray Vaughn and Albert King as influences. That pedigree shows up completely here in this song. Only later after he went to The Berklee School of Music did he stop and just play what sounded good. At that moment he was a hit machine. Well chosen Mystro2B…

I think Mayer has a Two Rock Custom amp rig that is killer. I remember when this album came out, I was just getting my electric guitar chops going, and had just built my first tube amp- I went out and bought the Guitar Player mag with the tabs for this track. Never got it- it’s some voodoo he is doing on that axe.
